On the Control Panel of the component clicking on the Parameters button the following parameters can be set.

Date format: the way how the date values are shown in the Report and the Statistics menu (in Unix date format). Default value: %Y-%m-%d %H:%M:%S

Client to log: which display you want to log - administration, public site or both.

Default stats: the primary grouping of the data in the Statistics menu - by users or by IP addresses.
